In 2019, before his untimely death, Andre Emmett founded the Dreams Really Exist Foundation. Though he is gone, the organization continues to carry his legacy, vision, and spirit into every life we touch.
Andre most recently played in Ice Cube's BIG3 League alongside former NBA players and international pros. Before that, he starred under legendary coach Bobby Knight at Texas Tech University, where he broke both the Texas Tech all-time scoring record and the Big 12 Conference all-time scoring record, earning his degree in business along the way.
In 2018, he was inducted into the Texas Tech Hall of Fame and is now featured in the Ring of Honor at United Supermarkets Arena.
He is survived by two loving daughters and a host of family and friends, and by a foundation, a community, and a movement determined to keep his dream alive.
