We close the opportunity gap for children in underserved communities, pairing tangible resources with the confidence, mindset, and social-emotional skills they need to lead tomorrow.
The Dreams Really Exist Foundation was founded by the late Andre Emmett, a Dallas basketball legend who never forgot where he came from. Today we carry his vision forward: meeting kids where they are and giving them what they need to thrive in life, school, and sport.
From the holidays to the classroom, we build momentum in a child's life that lasts far longer than a single day.

Through community partners and givebacks, we open doors to the tools, spaces, and mentors that underserved kids too often go without.
See our impact
Before his passing, Andre dreamed of giving bikes to children from single-parent households. Partnering with Josh Howard's foundation and The Carter's House, that dream became Holly Jolly, a joyful shopping experience where families facing loss and hardship are treated like guests of honor.
Each December, our priority is simple: support families whose children have experienced the loss of a parent and are facing significant hardship, and remind every one of them that their dreams still matter.
